Okay, I love old cars. Classically restored, hopped up, rusted, I don’t care. As someone who had to rebuild the engine on a Pinto Station wagon at age 16 that his older sister burned up, just so I could have my first car, I appreciate anyone that can keep an old car running.
Every summer the town of Lynden, Washington, they have a Raspberry Festival. They close off the downtown area and have food booths, basketball tournaments and a Car Show. People from all over the Pacific Northwest and Canada bring their old cars for display. Not only is there a lot of cars for a relatively small festival, many of them are very well done.
So classic cars and fantastic raspberry treats (the raspberry cream stuffed donuts are to die for) and it makes for a great afternoon.
