I took a trip in May to the island of Curacao, which is about 50 miles off the coast of Venezuela.  The island, which has been a Dutch possession since the 1600’s, has many different influences which can be seen in the people, architecture and lifestyle.  Beautiful beaches, excellent snorkeling and scuba diving, and an all-around relaxing time await whomever goes down there.
